Word list accuracy

We work to keep the word list useful, but we do not promise that it is complete or free of errors. A word can be missing, and a listed word can be invalid in your game or event. The list is based on Collins Scrabble Words and reflects an older edition, so newer additions may not appear.

Game dictionaries differ

Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordfeud, and tournaments each use their own approved dictionary. A word shown here may be rejected there, and a word accepted there may be missing here. Always confirm a word in the dictionary your game or event uses. Tile scores follow standard English Scrabble values and may differ from other games. See the dictionary comparison for more.

Fair play

Some games, clubs, and tournaments ban solver tools during play. You are responsible for following the rules of any game or competition you join.
