Why this policy exists
I wrote this policy so you can see how Tavionea content gets made. It covers who writes it, how I check it, and what I do when I get something wrong. It applies to every page on tavionea.online.
Who writes and reviews each page
I write and review every page myself. I read each one from start to finish before it goes live. I read it again after any big change to the tool. Tavionea takes no guest posts and pays no outside writers.
What I publish and why
Each page must answer a real question that a word-game player or puzzle solver might ask. I skip pages that exist only to catch a search term. I also skip text that repeats another page. If a page does not help someone finish a puzzle or play better, it does not go live.
How I check facts
Facts on this site fall into three groups. I check each group in a different way.

I keep advice apart from facts. When a sentence is my opinion, such as a tip about rack balance, I say so.
Sources I use
For rules, I use official rulebooks from the game publishers. For words, I use the word list itself. For tile values, I use the standard English Scrabble set. I do not rely on forum posts or anonymous sites for facts. If I cannot confirm a claim, I leave it out.
Original writing
I write each page in my own words. I do not copy text from other sites. When I quote a short phrase, I name the source. The solver’s results come from the word list, so they count as data and not as editorial text.
Updates and corrections
Every page shows its last update date at the bottom. I review pages when the tool changes, when a game changes its rules, or when a reader reports a problem. Here is how I handle reports.

I reply to every report within 3 business days. I add a visible note when a change goes beyond a small typo.
Independence and advertising
Results are sorted only by length, score, or alphabet. Nobody can pay to change them. Tavionea has no sponsored posts and no affiliate links. The site shows no ads. If I add ads later, I will label them, keep them apart from the tool results, and update the Privacy Policy first.
